Yay... I haven't updated in a long time

INFACT I FORGOT I HAD A BLOGGER ACCOUNT!!! I've been using Deviantart and myspace to blog for the past year. I'm so going to blog again here.

Butterfly Center.

Yesterday we took a trip to the Butterfly center. It is a dome that is tropical and houses man types of butterfly. It was a fast visit because parts of the exibit was closed off for additions of renevations. I didn't know my camera had a zoom feature untill I got home that day. (First time to use it.) Many of my pictures turned out fuzzy only because I was little James in tow on my other hand. One hand to try and take pix with will Little James is trying to drag me off. Otherwise I do like the quality of the pictures and can't wait to go out again to use it.

Handsome Sleeper.

I couldn't resist taking a picture of Baby Nathaniel when he rolled over to sleep this way. If that makes sense, he was sleeping on his side, started to roll over and ended up this way. I turned on the light to get a good picture because I don't have a flash on my camera phone.

Other people's crafts.

I love to post pictures of the things I make in flickr group pools. But, have you ever saved a picture of something that someone else had made either for inspiration or to create something like it later? Well I was searching through this http://www.flickr.com/groups/pouches/pool/"> Pouches Pool and saw something that I thought would look cute to make for my sister's birthday (turning 9). I leaped for yays when I saw that when this person wrote "check my profile for more info" that is usually secret code for I am selling this item so come look and buy it! :D But I went there and unfortunatly I don't have 12 dollars to spend nor do I have time to wait for shipping.. So... I got out that extra felt I had laying around and got to it. About 2 hours later, Tada presto.. I have a cute little match. I did put a snap on the back like the one being sold, but I am going to change it to a button that closes into that bungie elastic loop type thing. Simply because I don't think that the snap will hold up with a 9 year old, meh it wouldn't even last with me... I don't think the type of snap I used is good for this felt fabric, it would rip right through if I tried to tug it open and I don't like using my fingernails to open snaps... soo gross it gives me the hibbie gibbies.
